The Bambo Nature Diaper Review: A Greener Choice?

Last Updated on

Whether they’re new at the game or seasoned veterans, parents never really think about choosing the best diapers until they run into problems with their current diapers. I.e., leaking through the night, digging into their baby’s tiny legs, or just plain busting open as their baby sleeps. Luckily, we’ve done the hard work when it comes to a Bambo Nature diapers review which will not only show parents all they should be looking for in the perfect diaper or their baby, but also all that the Bamboo Nature diapers have to offer.

Of course, the name says it best. Bambo Nature diapers are made from eco-friendly materials and are less harsh on the environment than the typical diaper options or cloth diapers for that matter, which typically need to be cleaned in hot water so often that the benefits of “going green” with cloth are pretty balanced out. At first glance, choosing the right diaper might seem simple enough to most parents, but after going through a trial and error process for the first couple of months of a baby’s life, it’s easy to see the value in knowing all of their options. And the breathable, eco-friendly Bambo Nature diapers could be what they need from the get-go.

Key Features

  • They come in a lot of different sizes: Most diapers are like this, but it’s also reassuring to know that the Bambo Nature diapers come in sizes that range from 1-6, which equates to 4-66 pounds.
  • They’re good for the environment: With the Nordic Swan Eco-Label, the diapers are certified to be 100% free from any harmful materials or agents to the environment.
  • They are dermatologist tested: According to the Dermatologically Tested label on the package, the Bambo Nature diapers are tested to be clinically tested to be free of skin irritants and totally hypoallergenic.
  • The material is made especially for babies’ skin: The material of the Bambo Nature diapers is soft and stretchy, making it breathable and soft to prevent irritations throughout the day and night.

  • All of the health guarantees are useful for parents of babies with sensitive skin.
  • Babies can wear them from infancy through their toddler years.
  • Since they can be used overnight, there is no need for special “overnight” diapers.
  • They’re thin so as not to be too bulky, but are also breathable and absorbent.
  • Bambo Nature offers a subscription service to have diapers sent at regular intervals.

  • It might be hard to find the Bambo Nature diapers in stores.
  • Since the material is thin, it leaves a lot up to chance in the case that a baby’s deposit into the diaper is too much to handle.
  • For the cost ($12.50 for 28 size 1 diapers), the material could be stronger to put parents’ worries at ease.

Do you offer nighttime diapers?

“Bambo Nature’s disposable diapers and training pants work well both day and night because they feature a unique triple-layer design with super absorbent core for maximum leak protection, as well as a fully breathable backsheet and top dry design, which whisks moisture away from the skin. The Reviews are In

The Best!

By: Mercy

“I was skeptical of these diapers as their super pricey, but with my son’s sensitive skin I needed something that was free of chemicals. I tried Earth’s Best but they leaked way too much and they were super hard. The reviews on these were mainly positive but of course, there are always somewhere they just didn’t work out. I am so glad I gave these a try! These diapers are truly amazing! The amount of liquid they can hold is crazy and my baby’s skin is still dry to the touch.”

Best All Around Diaper, But Runs Wide

“We switched to this diaper (size 1) when our baby was 3 weeks old after she started developing rashes on her bum that her previous fragranced diapers (Pampers Swaddlers size NB) seemed to be exacerbating.”

Best Organic I’ve Tried

By: A. Smiling

“As close as you can get to regular diapers as an organic diaper can be. Relatively soft compared to other organic brands (by now I’ve almost tried them all). A lot of people said they hold pee better than regular diapers but I don’t find that’s true. They also leak a bit more. Definitely better than other orgánica though for sure. I’ve tried Earth’s Best, 365, babyganics, this and honest. Never tried 7th gen.”

Soft, But Leaked When Used Overnight

By: Luv2Dance

“I bought these in a size up from my sons’ usual size to use as an overnight diaper because I read very positive reviews about their absorbency that stated these would be a good night time diaper. But, they leaked the first night. These are quite soft though and I used the remaining diapers in the package during the day and had no leaks for daytime use.”

  • They’re super absorbent: Like most diapers, the Babyganics Ultra Absorbent diapers claim to be able to hold a lot of liquid, but they really are super absorbent, especially for materials that are good for the environment.

  • Parents might accidentally waste them: The side tabs sometimes rip easily when stretched over a baby or toddler to secure into place.
  • The material isn’t the softest: Although they’re made from eco-friendly materials, the diapers might seem stiff or thin to some.

Andy Pandy Biodegradable Bamboo Disposable Diapers

Not only are the Andy Pandy Biodegradable Bamboo Disposable diapers advertised as better for the environment, but they’re also made to be totally biodegradable. And since one of the bigger problems of diapers, in general, is the fact that they leave so much waste behind, this is one of the crowning features of the diaper. They can be purchased on the manufacturer’s website starting at $17.06 for a one-time purchase, but there’s also a subscription option.

  • They’re soft and absorbent: The Andy Pandy diapers claim to be Moisture wicking and thermal regulating so that they can keep babies both comfortable and dry whether they’re in a cooler or warmer environment.
  • They protect against rashes: Although they’re free from harsh chemicals, the diapers do have a protective layer of aloe on the inside.
  • There are less likely to leak: Because of the wetness indicator and the snug fit of the diapers, babies are less likely to succumb to leaks.

  • There aren’t many leaks, but it becomes weighted: After the baby gets the diaper wet, it may not leak, but it does sometimes become almost too wet inside.
  • The addition of aloe might irritate some babies rather than protect them.

Some Final Thoughts

Choosing the might not seem like the biggest issue in right natural diapers aising an infant, but as time goes on and their wet diapers become explosive ones, parents will do well to think on which option is best for them.
